Hi, we are now working hard on testing and releasing a new version of the Tigase XMPP Server. We are very busy right now and we can not offer you online help and advice.

Forums is our preferred way for communication as other users can also benefit from the discussion. You can also use a contact form if you have more specific questions.

Please, be patient, the response might be delayed as we receive a lot of questions and support requests. Once we publish a new stable version of the Tigase server the Minichat will be back online.

Bosh keep-alive mode

I have just comited Bosh keep-alive mode implementation. This may improve Bosh performance and lower the server load. If you are interested in giving it a try, grab the source code from SVN trunk and run some tests. This is a test version, not yet production ready.

MUC - new binary

There is a new binary release of the MUC component. The main changes are support for chat state notifications and fixed a problem with initializing user repository.

1,000 Euro bounty for PubSub + PEP component

Flosoft is so kind to offer a €1,000 bounty to somebody keen to implement PubSub + PEP component for the Tigase server. The whole component code will be published under the GPLv3 license.

The code of the PubSub+PEP can be based on the StanzaReceiver component which offers now similar functionality but it doesn't implement PubSub communication protocol. It can be also written from scratch.

Perfect Java knowledge is required.
It would also help to have experience with programming for systems working under very high load.
