The best way to help is to join the project. There is really a lot to do for everybody regardless you are good programmer or not. We need a help with:

1. Bug reports. If you find anything unusual or incorrect in the server behavior please report it in our on our forum. Bug tracker is temporary closed to anonymous users due to a number of spam submitted.
2. Coding of course. Server works but lots of features are still missing. If you have written some fixes or improvements please submit a patch.
3. Testing. There are many aspects of testing. We have automated tools for testing. These tools executes test scenarios. These tools run on some hardware. These tools are not enough...
   • Writing test scenarios for existing and new features. Usually it is very simple but still time consuming. Here is an example of such test scenario. Have a look maybe you can create it too.
   • Hardware. Testing this kind of software with thousands of connections requires more than 1 or 2 machines. Some tests like stability test require running them for a long time. We need hardware or access to the hardware.
   • Manual tests. Automatic tests don't cover all possible cases. They also don't cover different behaviors of all available clients. So we need people who could just test Tigase against their favorite clients.
4. Documentation. Writing and updating documentation. This is boring part sometimes but it needs to be done. Anybody with writing skills is very welcomed.
5. Site and the server maintenance. Admins, web admins, sys admins everybody who can look after the server, create backups is also welcomed.
